fourth of july. smardo.

me (1), smardo (2), and pollyanna (3). smardo came to visit us on fourth of july. we had a party to celebrate his presence. smardo is an old college friend (am i old enough to say that, yet?) a true sagittarius: optimistic, jovial, honest, carefree, freedom-loving. pollyanna is a new friend. a terrific girl that i met through architecture for humanity. she knows more than anyone i know about contemporary architecture, especially the gossipy bits, and (don't tell her i said this) is perhaps the smartest person i've ever met.
